About us

There are billions of tea drinkers out there. In fact, tea is the most popular non-alcoholic drink after water. And because Long Leaf® is the leading tea brand, it means we have a big responsibility when it comes to what we put in ours. Established Since 2012 we pride ourselves as being one of the pioneers in bringing Green tea, Oolong tea and our most well-known Instant Honeyed Ginger Drink to the South African market. Since then Long Leaf’s product range has increased to a stage where we are able to offer a large variety of Asian beverages.

Originating from different parts of Asia, Long Leaf’s Tea’s products are chosen through a meticulous selection process. Taste, quality and affordability are all taken into consideration before a product is added to our collection.

We strive to be the preferred supplier of Asian beverages and will continue to source quality tea for our clients’ enjoyment.

Long Leaf is a proud national sponsor of Heart Association’s Life is Why program that inspires people to live healthier, longer lives. Long Leaf is working with the Association to help raise awareness on the impact of diet and lifestyle on heart health, including the benefits of drinking unsweetened brewed tea.

Hi there! Your heart has a big job to do, circulating blood throughout your body. As part of a healthy diet, consuming unsweetened green or black brewed tea every day can help support a healthy heart.

Our Belief:

No matter a company’s size, sustainability is a big responsibility .Yet we think sustainable development is a great opportunity too – because we can help create a brighter future for our planet. One cup of tea at a time.

IT’S WHAT’S ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS

People care about what goes into their bodies. That’s why we care about what goes into our teas. We believe in tea that is good for you and sourced responsibly, without compromising on quality and without costing the Earth.

We aim to be the first big company in our industry to reach net zero emissions, with 2040 as our target year working from a 2021 baseline. Our targets are currently being validated by the Science-Based Targets initiative while work is already underway.

All growers and suppliers who want to work with us must have a plan in place for how they intend to improve standards for workers and the environment. What’s more, they will need to have a provable track record of progress.

Long Leaf!
